Airpods 3 Rumors So Far (bonus - Apple Music Hifi)

We -nearly- know for sure that Apple will announce an-other earbuds, most probably named Airpods Pro 3, during second half of May or first half of June. Rumor has it that Gen3 of Airpods will have these features:

New Design

We saw changes in stem lenght (shorter on Airpods Pro), changes on eartips (silicon eartips on Airpods pro) so on between Airpods and Airpods Pro. So it's certain we will see some changes for Gen3 too.

Eartips design is still unknown, as some Apple insiders tell that there will again be a pair of silicon eartips, some say the new earbuds will still be an in-ear design but without silicon eartips. I certainly wish that Apple achieve not to put any silicon eartips but keeping those earbuds in my ears (my wife's Airpods drop from my ears even when I'm sitting...)

A case without charging capability is a no go for these kind of devices anymore, especially taking the price range of Apple's into account. So the -now widened- case will surely charge the earbuds when you put them in case.

Improved Hardware

Both Airpods (Gen2) and Airpods Pro had H1 chip inside, whilst W1 chip powered Gen1 Airpods. H1 has lower latency (30%) and is faster (1.5x) than W1.

We all waited that will be inside Airpods Pro Max, but this time I hope we will see a new gen chip in Airpods Gen3. New chip would offer lower latency, faster pairing and most importantly will take a smaller space to make new earbuds smaller.

Noise Cancellation

Now comes the sad news, Airpods 3 will not have active noise cancellation feature. This also means that there will be a "Airpods Pro Gen2" which will be revealed sooner than later.

Price

Since you got the bad news, you could easily guess that Airpods 3 will have a similar price tag with Airpods Gen2 (w/charging case), which is $199 without any discounts.

Bonus News; Apple Hifi

Probably along with the announcement of Airpods 3, Apple will reveal a sub-subscription service added to Apple Music, for generally audiophiles out there; Apple Music+.

Apple is not the only one in market trying to sell "lossless music", Spotify still tries to get the numbers on their sales around this "niche" group of people, which would pay nearly anything to please their highest quality music taste.

But, between you and me, I think Apple Hifi will not live long, but I am sure it will sell enough to make the new feature worth for Apple.
